Deborah Podolsky Foundation

Deborah Ann Podolsky, was an amazing mother, wife, sister, daughter, and most of all a loving grandmother. She was also a brave fighter who lost her life due to the complications of Diabetes at the age of 56.

Deborah was diagnosed with Diabetes at an early age and from then on the battle started. It attacked one organ to the next. She has gone through numerous surgeries throughout her early life and the last one was a kidney transplant. After being on the donor list for years, she finally received the call to get the kidney transplant surgery. She did well with the kidney, but it was the many other ailments that took a toll on her life. Her heart finally gave out and she couldn’t fight the battle anymore. She passed without being able to see her grandchildren grow up, which were the most important things to her in life. Through the many days of endless pain, they were the only thing that could put a smile on her face. It’s still hard to believe that such a strong and willful person is gone at such a young age.

Our Mission and Vision

Our mission is to help improve the lives of all people with Diabetes. Our vision is to help Diabetics individually. We want to touch the lives of Diabetics on a personal level. There are many struggles that Diabetic face on a daily basis. Diabetes can affect your entire body and mind, including heart, eyes, kidneys, feet teeth and skin. The donations given will go towards our Refer A Diabetic program. All referrals will be evaluated and approved by our foundation administrators. Please take into consideration that this is a non-profit organization and we research each and every referral thoroughly. There will be updates of all events on the Deborah Podolsky Foundation facebook page.
